Building your website, step by step.

1. Pick your model. Browse the ideas below. You can either choose a base model (Generic, Modern, Minimal, Bold, Neon, or Fresh) to get started quickly, or opt for a completely unique design built from scratch. If you go for a unique model, you must explain in depth exactly what you want in the order form so we can bring your vision to life.

2. Place your order. Once you've decided on your layout, click the "Place Your Order" button. Fill in your details, upload your menu and photos, and hit submit.

3. We build it. Sit tight. Between 1 to 3 days, we will hand-build your website and send the final product straight to the email address you provided in the form. Along with the website, you'll receive a clear description on how to set it up and get it live.

What happens if my menu changes?
Menus change — we get it. On the Basic plan, any content changes (prices, menu items, opening hours) are available as a small one-off fee per update. On the Advanced plan (£10/month) you get one free content update per month included. On Fully Managed (£20/month) you get unlimited reasonable updates — just send us a message and it'll be done within 24 hours.
Do I need to buy a domain name?
Yes — a domain name (like www.yourtakeaway.co.uk) is separate from the build fee and typically costs around £10–£15 per year. We'll walk you through buying one once your site is built, and we can handle the setup for you so it points to your new website correctly. Most of our clients go with a simple .co.uk address to keep it local and professional.
How do my customers pay for orders online?
We set up Stripe on your behalf — it's the same payment system used by Amazon, ASOS, and thousands of UK takeaways. Your customers pay by card at checkout, and the money lands directly in your bank account, usually within 2 business days. Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per UK card transaction — that's it, no monthly fee, no hidden charges. We wire order notifications straight to your own phone or email, so you know the moment a payment clears and can start preparing right away.
How will I know when a new order comes in?
The moment a customer places an order and pays, you'll be notified straight away — what they ordered, the total, and their contact details. We wire these notifications directly to your own devices, so it lands on your phone or email the second payment clears, with no extra app to check or log in to. No more waiting by the phone — every order arrives clearly, with everything you need to fulfil it.
Can you update my opening hours or add a seasonal promotion?
Absolutely. On the Advanced and Fully Managed plans this is included — just send us a message with what needs changing and we'll have it live within 48 hours (24 hours on Fully Managed). On the Basic plan, a quick update like this is available for a small one-off fee. We'd rather your site always reflects exactly what's going on in your kitchen.
What if I want to cancel?
No lock-in contracts. You can cancel your monthly maintenance plan at any time with 30 days' notice — just send us an email. The website itself is yours: we'll hand over all the files so you can host it wherever you like. Do bear in mind that once you cancel, the responsibility for keeping your site online — hosting, security, fixing anything that breaks — moves entirely to you. Self-hosting without ongoing support carries real risk: a misconfigured setup can mean your site (and your online ordering) simply goes dark with no one to call. Most of our clients find it's worth keeping even the Basic plan running just for that peace of mind.
